Before the thread was closed, there was a conversation talking about what punishment the rioters will be getting.
If you "do" twitter you can follow #gmpolice (Greater Manchester Police) and they're publishing the sentences the rioters are getting
as they go through the courts.
I wish I could see their faces as they get sent down for 4 month for "ranting and swearing at police" etc

There are some belters there! Sentencing form yester-year! 
As the prisons are already overcrowded exactly where and for how long will they get put? Are they going to have waiting lists for cells "oh you
are free to go now come back in 3 months when we have a cell available" or are a lot of the sentences going to get commuted to "community
service" or house arrest with a tag. None of this entier episode makes any snse!

The overall colour of the majority of rioters was mentioned (not racism), then someone popped up with a false binary of "are you racist or
blind" and the thread was closed.

Not only is Prison to good for the scum bags but you and I pay for them, I realise we probably allready pay for them.

If we can find out the names of people via twitter who try to hide their identity by getting injuctions against the press then the same method should
be used to 'out' these rioters who can't be named because of age.
I'm sure the shopkeepers who got looted would like to know the identity of the people that turned them over so they can ban them from ever
entering their business again whatever age.

Re the sending them to Afganistan etc. I think we have the best armed forces in the world, and might get concerned that some of the scum might dilute
that quality.
Still, could always get them mine clearing!

Somebody elsewhere suggested we could outsource the prisons. Turkey was one suggestion, but I am sure plenty of countries would bid nice and low for
