Car is sold !, just wanted to say thanks to all on this forum for the laughs, help, encouragement etc.
Short history and a tip for new builders from a "Senior builder" (i was real chuffed whe i reached that status, dont know why really but i was !)
2002, joined locostbuilders site.
Started build.
Nov 2002 Spent a fortune on parts
2002, 2003, Spent further fortune.
2003, aged 20 years
After many long days, late nights and fights with wife.................
May 2004, Applied for and passed SVA !. One of the best days in my life, seriously !
Rest of summer 2004, had a blast driving my car and basically showing off at every oportunity.
2005, Bought a Mazda RX8. not useing Locost as much.
July 2005, realised, that for me, the challenge had been in the building and the acheivement of building a car from scratch.
Aug 2005, sold car to an Irish chap who is loving it.
So, thats it, probably wont be on the site too much in the future but will keep looking now and again.
So thanks again to all who i have communicated with (and met), and, if you are building a car, or thinking of building a car at present, do it, it is worth it !!
