Interior carpet

Hi gents,

Anyone using interior carpets in the footwells/transmission tunnel?

Any pros or cons for having them?

Jay

I didn't on my MK Indy, just left it bare alloy and GRP. Even had the offer of some free black carpet from a trade show stand, but ultimately didn't see any point in adding more weight to the car.

The car got wet a couple of times in the rain and I had to mop it out. Wet carpet may well have dried out quick enough, but seems another needless faff to me (personally).

Most people are trying to minimises the weight of their cars where possible!
