seems quiet on here
yeah i've been away for a while as I'm busy doing the beetle and only dropping by now and again but this is the quietest I've seen
this place
have most of the old names wandered off to new pastures?
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet

Yikes you don't listen to that surely?! 
saying that I once got dragged to see Whitesnake etc and moaned the whole time my ears were sore and ringing and should have been warned and I would
have brought ear defenders!!

whippy is doing just fine thanks 
been working on this very rusty beetle every night till around 2 in the morning for about 4 months now! I welded up the chassis (about 8 meters of
welding on just that). Then split the body from the chassis and am welding up and prepping the body ready for spraying. Must have spent at least
1000hrs on it so far, probably close to 4k spent and have masses to do yet  but will be worth it in the end as I'm going to keep this car
permanently hence why I am being really fussy about the quality. I'm in no rush to have it on the road, it will be done when it's finished

To be honest mate, without you around it just wasn't worth being on here!

Ear defenders are great, I was at Bloodstock last weekend (3 day open air metal festival) and ear defenders were essential ^_^

its ar*e.
