Are sierra and scorpio callipers the same?
I know the the Scorpio hubs are 5 stud, so no use, but I have a feeling that the callipers front and rear are the same as sierra ones.
Can anyone confirm?

I seem to recall that Scorpios have 260mm front discs, so you'd need XR4x4 parts (260mm, 4 stud) to make them work on sierra uprights.
Rears I'm not sure, but I suspect you'd be ok.

Hello,
The sierra front calipers are "smaller".
As said before , scorpio use a 260 mm disc and piston are 60 mm diameter instead of 53 for the sierra.
i am not sure about the rear ones.

Depending on what Scorp, it could have had vented rear discs so would have wider rear calipers compared to the Sierra also.

The sierra/scorpio/granada rear calipers are all the same for solid discs on all 3 models, and all 3 on vented (different caliper) no idea on the
fronts.

I thought the sierra ones (for 260mm discs) were 60mm pistons.
You probably know anyway but if you're using the sierra discs make sure you get the right ones as the 4x4 hubs have a different offset to 2wd
hubs, hence the disc offsets are different too.

Agreed Liam, that's correct. I thought there was a difference in the rears, just couldn't for the life of me remember what it was!

The front of the sierra's could come with either 240mm solid discs (1.3's I think)
or 240mm vented discs on most std models (54mm pistons)
or 260mm vented discs (60mm pistons) on XR4's, XR4x4's and any other model with eitehr 4x4 or ABS fitted
(these calipers are also found on some for the RS turbo escorts I think)
as said above the 4x4 discs have a different offset from the std. sierra, but 2wd the ABS / XR4's both use the same offset as the standard
sierra 
The 5 stud granada's also use the same 60mm piston caliper on a 260mm vented disc, but the offset is 5mm shallower than the std. sierra one
(the difference is in the upright and disc only)
the rear of the 5 stud granada's (bog std. model) uses 253mm solid discs with the same calipers as the rest of the sierra's, infact the
only diference is the extra wheel stud
(the 24v cossie ones had 273mm vented rear discs - the same as the sierra cossie 4x4 /escort cossie)
in the above I'm not counting any of the cosworth models, they all have a size bigger brakes again....
This is based on my own findings as I'm using a mk3 granada as my donor (5 stud hubs) and I've had an XR4x4 and the front end of a bog
std. sierra estate with ABS - all three had exactly the same calipers
