type 9 rebuild woes

hi everyone, i rebuilt my type 9 using a bgh hd leshaft and leygear, i was really happy with it and the fact i managed to build a gearbox myself. Unfortunately ive had to disassemble it as i need to change the input shaft from my previous broken box. To remove the inout shaft you need to drop the leyshaft but with the new HD bearing you cannot remove the leyshaft as it has a pressed on sleeve, Ive spent all evening today and yesterday trying to drop it, but i cant. An ideas?

If the layshaft has the pressed on hd bearing sleeve, you need a press to remove it , if it wont shift with a hammer and drift.
