Jago jeep seats

Hi all. Been a while since I posted on here.

Just been offered a jago jeep. Are they easy to make 4 seaters? This one has 2 seats but would need to add 2 more for my kids. Tried googling etc but nothings come to light.

Got to make it feasible so the wife doesn't moan.

Hi Dan, we had a few that came with "back seats " best ones were usinmg the folding bench seat
from a land rover. Main problem is securing seat to a frame which needs attatching to the chassis rails. Seat belts or harnesses require extesions to the roll bar side supports rear passegers are very vulnerable without a full roll cage or substantial additional metal at the back. You would needto clear it with insurers too too as the days of a couple of lap belts bolted through the floor wwith some big washers are long gone.
We did once look at putting some bucket seats back to back with original 2 but due to the floor stepping up behind the original seats there is only headroom for smaller personsi -probably +k for kids as main roll hoop will bé over their heads and a substantial bar across main hoop would give somewhere to attach harnesses to
Get back if you think we can help
Hth
Mike
Ps if you decide not to go for it we might bé tempted to take on another jeep

I bought a bench seat for my jago from a micro car I think it was called, bought off eBay for £15 and folds too, yet to sort seatsbelts etc yet though.
It was a perfect fit between the rear arches width wise

I've replicated the front roll hoop to go at the back with tubes running forward to join the lot up.

That would give you the same mounting options as the front seats. I've got the back seats out a Suzuki SJ, they are nice and small.

Got the bits but not got round to fitting them yet so no pics sorry

Steve.
