Triumph

Looks like Triumph may be making a comeback under it's new owners.

"Chinese workers earn five pounds a day."

So they should be selling over here for about £150.00 on the road.

Be interesting to see how British the new cars would be, and where they'll be building a new factory.

I think it'll probably be Poland!

Doesn't do anything for me unfortunately. The only modern production cars that look any good are the Aston Martins and the Lotus'. Just an opinion of course.

It won;t be Poland - that is getting too expensive, more like Serbia or Albania..

the triumph is pleasant in a slightly unpleasant sort of way - the headlamp/front wing conrers look a bit off.

I think it is nice to ressurect some of the old British car/bike names; recently we've had Ariel and AJS.

I don't see the point of resurrecting the names [other than from a marketing point of view].

I think the new Mini [whilst a good little car] is a bit of an insult to the original.

I would agree with you Stu, but at least the mini is made in Oxford...

Agree, and the two new Jags

same old boring interior for the MG then.

Just wondering how this affects the use of the Triumph name on motorbikes made in the uk?
Can you have two companies called Triumph with the same name logo or am i missing something.

Dont really know if I want my Beautiful Triumph Speed triple to be associated with a foreign made car
PS.I also like the interior of my MGB too!

Once I've finished a project why do I start another?
