Bike Shaft Drive

Does anyone have any good links for shaft-drive diagrams?

I'm particularly interested in the engine-end of the drive... how does it connect to the front sprocket?

Also... how difficult would it be to connect, say a Kawasaki GTR1400 shaft to a ZZR1400 engine?

Cheers muchly!

a lot of the kawasaki range are very interchangable, Im building up a GTR1000, this is almost identical to a gpz900 or 1000 motor, just got the bevel box on the output instead

dont forget that if your driving a car rear diff that you will need to flip it upside down

Thanks for that Tony... "Bevel-Box" - that's the name I was looking for!

This site can be handy for cross referencing parts and viewing exploded diagrams:

You can check view exploded diagrams and parts lists on the Kawasaki website.

Weirdly I spent yesterday checking the difference between the ZZR1400 and GTR1400.

Result was a bit inconclusive, the crankcases are a different part number, the crank and pistons are different part numbers. But they do look extenally very similar.
