Maybe the Uk is now getting justice right!

It would appear that Mr Green was being treated for his injuries (self inflicted I think) at a hospital. Has he paid for said treatment. I think he should.

While the article as a whole is a positive thing, what actually happened to the thieves committing the crime? Where is their jail sentence?

snakebelly - 23/1/14 at 05:18 PM

Have to agree that was the fly in the ointment for me £75 fine!

trikerneil - 23/1/14 at 05:29 PM

Why did it take twenty minutes to clear him?
No case to answer as far as I'm concerned.

Retribution that the thief had the fence post taken off him and used against him. In a juror's position, I think that would have helped me reach a verdict!

joneh - 23/1/14 at 05:31 PM

Excellent!

Although they'll need to nick more diesel to pay the £75 fine...

The one he sat on got off lightly, poor lads salt of the earth

I used to live next to a closed school, I surprised the guard once who was carrying a cricket stump to warn people off, big mistake if you are the smaller person.

Good on him

Shame he had to go through the worry of the court case in the first place
