Can someone measure their coilovers please

I am looking to cut 4 pieces of box section to use as fake coilovers whilst I build my car up to rolling chassis stage.

I am just looking for a rough dimension top bolt hole to bottom bolt hole from a car thats built.

Mine is a velocity xt model.

This will give me some time to get the car pretty much fully built without the need to save up the pennies for a full set of coilovers until I need them.

No rush, some time in the next few weeks would be good - cheers.

Andy

funnily enough I did a search on shock lengths for a velocity and the shock length is between 10-13". so I would thought that 12" would be ok.

Thanks......

Ok, that sounds good, I have to go into work tomorrow to shaparone the builders that we have in so I will cut some box section 13" long on the metal chopsaw there, I can always shorten it when the time comes.

Cheers guys :-)
