Trying to find a short animated film

This one is a real long shot but you don't ask you don't find out.

The film I'm looking for was the story told from the perspective of a grown up son about his father starting when the son was a child and ending after the old mans death.

It starts by saying when they were young they went on holiday by bus and about how their father knew all the time tables. then one year they got a car. It then lists happy memories of camping holidays in the car. As the sons get older they realise it isn't as exciting as they all thought before and the dad turns into an old man. The sons leave home and the mother dies and eventually the old man makes his final trip by bus to the old peoples home where he dies. After he's died they check the car and discover he'd kept it fully maintained and ready to go.

I'm not entirely sure when I saw this but I believe it was late night on channel 4 between 2005 and 2010. I don't think there was much in the way of people shown and I think the car looked a lot like a Peugeot 304.

I'm not really expecting to find it but like I said, you never know if you don't ask, and if anyone knows its likely to be someone on here.

Hi, I used to be known as eznfrank on here and I still visit and nosey round from time to time but I can't remember my password so had to start again.

Anyhow.......I'm an investigator and occasionally like to hone my skills on other peoples problems. This should answer your questions. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0308376/

Don't do it, your memory will be far better than the film second time around.
