Happy New Year

I know it's early, but I'll be busy partying later on!

Happy New Year to everybody - let's hope it's Healthy & Peaceful too!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Happy New Year

We were hoping that it'd be a better one than last year - money troubles, job worries, health problems, school bullying problems. The finale was arriving in Ireland on the 19th for Christmas, only to find an uncle in hospital suffering from a sudden vascular dementia; a cousin in hospital with heart problems; and then for our 12 year old son to suffer a grand mal seizure within an hour of arrival (never had any health problems at all) and suffer both respiratory and cardiac arrest in the post fit period - luckily my wife is a nurse and managed to get him back while we were waiting for the ambulance. We are now waiting for follow up hospital visits to try and assess any reason, likelihood of repeat, etc.

A better year is not to be though, as although the cousin is back home and okay, 15 minutes ago my wife received a call about her uncle and all the family have been called into the hospital urgently As soon as she's ready, we're off.

That's tough - we've just been through a year worrying about our grandson in Australia - he was born at about 28 weeks pregnancy, spent 3 months in intensive care, and has ended up in hospital almost every month with respiratory problems.

Now he's 18 months old, and a happy, bouncy little chap - can't wait to see him again (when we can afford the air fare - we went over 3 times in the past 12 months, and our bank balance is fragile!).

That's got to be very hard. I hope the future is looking good.

News update here. Uncle James died on Saturday morning. We have moved our return date back a few days and the funeral is on Monday.
