Unfinished Project ABS Freestyle with R1 engine

ABS Freestyle Kit with R1 2003 R1 Installed

I started this project around 10 years ago, with an ABS Freestyle frame. Just the front end. I then made the rear end of the chassis by copying a Jedi single seater race car car rear end. The rear wish bones I made up, based on rules taken from a calculator in Alan Staniforth,s book.
Front running gear, brakes and calipers is Mini
Rear running gear , brakes and calipers is Westfield
Adjustable tie bars
Braided flexi hoses
Adjustable height and rebound coil overs front and rear
I had some one off superlight split rims made up, running different PVD's and offsets to match the suspension
2003 Fuel injected R1 engine. I have a video of this running in the chassis.
I also have a billet clutch basket ready to be installed
Varta battery
Sierra master cyclinder
Remote controlled Imobiliser/alarm
One off aluminium fuel tank, running the R1 fuel pump
R1 radiator with cooling fan
Aluminium header/expansion tank
One off 4 into 1 exhaust manifold
R1 silencer
One off carbon fibre cycle wings
GRP bonnet with Carbon fibre inlay
Hand braked installed and working

Over the years the frame has turned from bright steel to the brown you see now, which is just surface rust. The aim was always to strip the whole thing and have it blasted and powder coated when finished. Has been kept in my workshop for years. The wheels and tyres ect have been stored indoors, only refitted for the sale.

There is still lots to do finish this project.
Wiring
Cooling/plumbing – only temporarily rigged up for test run
Brake pipes
Chain driven diff – I have the westfield half shafts
The obvious paint/powder coat finished
Lights
Seating

You could either finish it for the road as I intended, I have the Mini donor v5 or would make a suitable grass-track car.

Any question drop me a line.

No warrenty with this one, sold as seen.
Come and take a good look at what you are getting into before you commit, its not for the faint hearted.
