Crank straightening, anyone had it done?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone on here ever had a crank straightened?

I've got a Suzuki hayabusa Gen 1 that unfortunately has had a knock on the end of the crank in a bike accident, it's running 10 thou out of true using a DTI when I measures it on the end where the stator fits.

I'm taking to a place in Kegworth called SEP engineering, I've spoken to them on the phone and they said they may be able to put it it right, they offer a crank straightening service so hopefully they can sort it out.

Has anyone got any advice as I'm struggling to find replacement unless I spend big money.

SEP have been going for years and years, my first crank went to them in about 1980!
I suspect 10 thou is reasonably fixable, so fingers crossed
