the upright has a whopping great nut on the back of it, if it is cortina then he must be machining out the centre bearing spindle.

it does sort of resemble a cortina hub, excluding the blue thing in the middle. Similar shaped bits and bobs.

thoughts on the front uprights

those front uprights could be fabricated using towsure 's dummy stub axles with a mini bolt pattern Same as quad bike wheels. also availible in fordy pattern

The uprights are purpose designed to suit the geometry I wanted. They're machined out of 6061 aluminium with a bolt-in spindle.

Don't all wishbone type uprights?
