I have been checking over my wishbone bushes as I'm not happy with the feel of the car when driving and thought this would be a good starting
point before a Geo set up. The bushes are over 15 years old.
The front bushes weren't too bad and a little bit of grease helps with the movement.
The lower rear bushes where a bit corroded and were very stiff at the upright after disconnecting the chassis end. A bit of a clean up and grease and
all is well with nice rotation after locking off.
Two questions.
Where can I purchase stainless inserts from. I know that most people get the Rally Design bushes, but the inserts are mild steel.
Also, my Gaz shocks don't seem to have inserts and I'm unsure on how these should be bolted up. Should they be tight or allow for some
rotation.
Thanks in advance.
Brad.
I've used Superflex for bushes and SS tubes before

Depending on what car you've got stainless crush tubes for wishbone bushes are available on Ebay.
Shock mounts should have a crush tube inside the rubber bush too
