Thats what I thought, just interested to see if it's just a vent filter or if there is some kind of non return/roll over valve, as about to do mine.

Regarding filter thats the vent for the tank it has a non return valve in it too like this one link it just pushes inside the rubber hose and lets air in/out and closes if not vertical to seal tank very simple does the job nicley and reasoable cost.

I put the filter on to prevent dust entering the tank
