Ford Alternator – Lucas Type

This was purchased for use with my Ford Crossflow engine but… this alternator is designed to be used on Ford Pinto where the alternator mount is opposite side of the engine to the Crossflow - Doh!!

Now surplus to requirements.

Can post at cost (estimate - £9.50)

£25 - Offers... Rescued attachment Alternator.JPG

Alternator

Hi,

Just a thought. On some lucas alternators. It is possible to undo the long body retaining screws allowing you to rotate the pulley end around.
This would in theory allow you to mount the altenator on the other side of the engine.

Worth looking into before selling.
