Ford Crossflow 1600 engine and gearbox Locost / kit Car

For sale Ford Crossflow 1600 engine and gearbox,

Re-built 1600 Crossflow 711 block inc new oil pump, valve lifters and all bearings.

Starter Motor

K and N Filter.

Weber carburettor

4 into 1 manifold

Lolocost Silencer

Gearbox is 4 speed

New clutch assembly complete

New centre friction plate to fit Type 9 gearbox (If required)

New Coil

Solenoid

New pipework

New fuel filter

This was bought for my Striker Kit car build but I have sold the Striker and the new owner will be using a different engine. The engine / gearbox package I have is therefore surplus to requirements.

Everything has been cleaned / painted, you could literally drop this package into a new car build without any of the normal cleaning / painting, save yourself a heap of time and grief.

The engine I gather has been run following the re-build but has not been used on the road.

There is also a spare 4 speed gearbox which can be taken with package if required.

Any questions please ask I will do my best to answer..

Collection only as this would probably make Mr Posty grunt a bit!

I was intending to put this on Ebay but not sure exactly how much to put it up for – any suggestions or indeed offers before I list it…

I bought the engine with other parts so very difficult to put a price on this. I was hoping to get some sort of guidance on here really. I can only suggest that if you are interested you u2u me a reasonable offer - what is a reasonable price?

Don't forget the new oil pump and HT leads. Also engine had a rehone, new bearings, new valve lifters, new piston rings. It was all checked for tollerances by a local to me engine builder, who chemically cleaned the block, head, pistons, rods, sump etc. and rehoned it. He also supplied all the bearings etc. It is like new in there!

I also stripped and cleaned 2 carbs. and made one out of all the best bits and a genuine webber rebuild kit.

Good luck with the sale mate.
