Excuse my ignorance, but what are RWD wheels?

Does this refer to rims with wider tyres fitted for the rear and narrower tyres fitted for the front?

No - fair question though - I’ve not been clear. I mean offset to suit Escort, Cortina etc rather than Ka, Fiesta etc.

Sorry to drift off topic... I think some of the FWD fords have the same offset - Sierra wheels are interchangeable with those on the Puma and MK1 Ka as far as I know..

Just found this online: http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Ford/Sierra%20(1982%20-%201993).html which shows cars with centre bores the same offsets the same or close, which includes a lot of FWD cars.

Some 106 or 205 4 stud steel rims will be 13x5j et20/24, you may need different taper wheel nuts to match up the peugeot rims.

Pretty sure Ford and Peugeot wheels have the same PCD, but different centrebores. I think you need centrebore adapters to use Peugeot wheels on Ford hubs.

The steel wheels have taper seat bolts so will be bolt centric, the centre bore is only used for initial alignment and does not carry any load once the bolts are tightened.
Peugeot alloy wheels have flat seat bolts so are hub centric, so would require a 63-68 adapter for correct alignment.
