Riveting the floor - What to rivet into?
First day working on the car today.
I am unsure whether I should be riveting into the flat steel as well as the square sections? Are these flat steels for the seat rails?
I have marked them up with masking tape (see pic) but thought I'd check before drilling.
Cheers!!

i just did mine to the square steel as the flat parts are for the seats/runners. Seems plenty sturdy enough.

Mark it up nd dril then u want some pu adhesive on there b4 you rivet. Also easier if you are going lucky reverse to cut slot at the back b4 you fit
the floor.
Cheers D
Oh yeah 1 hole in the middle of the flat steel straps is good too
