Thank you Chris

I'd just like to thank you Chris for your hard work to keep the site up and running. Mostly it is unnoticed until a glitch like yesterday's, but all very much appreciated. Thank you

Best regards

John

Sorry boys, it's all getting nasty with Netrino aka my ex-employer.

After switching the server off last week with no notice they submitted what appears to be a fake abuse ticket to the temporary ISP last night. Luckily I know someone in management there who was able to intervene.

I'm already suing them (Netrino) for a bunch of other things so we'll just add this to the list.

Always amazes me what has to go on behind the scenes to keep a site like this running, and it all goes pretty much unnoticed. I guess that's good as it shows what an excellent job Chris does.
Great job Chris and thanks again for all your effeorts

I'd love to, but it would be a massive, massive effort.

Chris,
It's probably way down on you list of priorities but the text on the PayPal Donate page could do with an update. I assume that the funds go to the right place..

One priority is to set up an alert system so that people can tell me if there are problems. I had guests over last night so didn't log on after about 1800, I had no idea that the site was down until this morning!

AFAIK Impex will convert XMB to vbulletin, or is it the photo uploads that are the issue?

Chris, just as a thought - will current contributions cover the cost of transferring the site to a new ISP?
I'm sure most of us would be willing to contribute a bit extra to that end.
BTW how do I find out if I've subscribed in the last year - can't remember if there's an auto reminder?
Regards, Pewe.

Hi

To see your donations go to:

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/memcp.php?action=donations

(It's the 'donations' button in the 'Control Panel / Options' link top left of page)

The new hosting is going to be around £200/month so it's definitely going to hit my pocket hard!

£200 a month!!! Jeez.

Asides from the obvious, is there anything else that any of us could help with?
