Many thanks, just ordered a copy.

If plans are available somewhere I would love a copy for a "one day" project.

Thanks guys - I'm keeping my promise to Allan's widow and trying to keep the Terrapin legacy going.
a few points...

The first 100 anniversary reprints (only a few hundred in total were ever done and I have a few left) were signed by Allan in 2003 - Poor Allan was quite tired after autographing 100 books and I had to keep him going with tea and cakes.
After the first hundred copies were printed Allan asked me to change the photo of him - so I guess those 1st one hundred 30th anniversary copies will be megga rare (shows a picture of Allan on holiday at front) He then asked me to replace it with one of him in racing overalls.
The sales have been slow as the interest is focussed on a very select audince like yourselves - keen builders & racers.
Prior to his death we split the last batch of books between us as Allan used to pass copies on to friends and colleagues when he attended events. I see some attracting high prices second hand.Incidentally only 1000 copies of the original 60's hardback version were ever printed and it is attracting high prices. A few paperback versions were printed in the 70's with a short update at the rear (extra chapter) using left over unbound printed material from the 60's.

Glad to see some of you are embarking on this little piece of racing history & constructing Terrapins.

If you have any questions I'll try to answer when I can get the opportunity to log onto your great site.
cheers
rob

I have posted most of these on the Terrapin Forum (website).

I do have a limited supply as Allan & I split the last print run between us just before he sadly passed away. I assume the family have now run out from the note above.

cheers

Hi Rob, any chance you have a book available? I've only recently read Alan's other books and I'd like to read the Terrapin story.

Are the plans also available?
