The quality has got to be down to who has made it hasn't it.

The LUK bearing for the mondeo is around £100 I've seen cheap Ebay ones for £20.

I am converting my zetec/t9 to csc, I think genuine ford are best. They last well over 100k in a tintop, no reason they shouldn't last as well in a kit.
I got mine off eBay, £65.

I was advised that the slave came from the V6 Mondeo, I bought a cheap one off eBay as I don’t believe in buying high priced stuff from manufacturers.

I’ve not heard of problems with the cheaper concentric release bearings, I’ve only heard people saying that they have heard about problems... no first hand experience.

I’ll let you know how it goes.
I’ve modified the bellhousing for quick release

The V6 one is 10mm longer than the 4 cylinder variety. Think that is the only difference.

Out of interest, how are you connecting the pipework if using quick release bellhousing?

Good question, I’m reviewing my options but thinking about some form of quick release connector that seals when the pipe is removed, I can still leave the bellhousing in place and remove the engine
