Built this machine last year to play DVD's on and watch downloaded movies etc as well as a bit of solid modelling. Was plugged into my LCD TV. Does not get much use so I would rather have the moneys to put into more useful things.

Spec:
Core I3 3.1Ghz (dual core, quad thread) processor
4Gb DDR3 ram
40Gb Hard disk
DVD ROM drive
Gigabyte motherboard with HDMI/VGA/DVI graphics connectors. 1gb LAN connection, 7.1 Channel surround sound output w optical SPDIF.
Micro-atx multimedia case.

Wireless keyboard and mouse



Has Windows 7 64bit edition installed as well as solidworks 2010.

Just for reference the i3 range of processors are all dual core not quad if I'm not mistaken.

Good point. Getting my chips confused.... Its a dual core chip but runs four threads...hence why windows performance monitor shows 4 processors rather than two.
