AGM WLR V12 - Yellow Vinyl Wrap UPDATE
StuartBJ - 15/2/12 at 11:59 AM

So Gents,

I did tease you with the idea of getting my car wrapped last year so I thought you deserved a quick update.

I hope to get her back complete this weekend ..... but here are a few pictures of the wrap in progress.

Apologies for the various colour shades different cameras used..... its Lemon Yellow/Carbon as per the materials picture

The company thats wrapping it are called Wraps101/group101 and they are based in Purfleet, Essex.

A reminder of the concept

This has to be my favourite picture

StuartBJ - 15/2/12 at 02:07 PM

What is the consensus on wheel colour..... As is (Silver) or Gloss black?

jabbahutt - 15/2/12 at 02:10 PM

with that colour scheme gloss black wheels get my vote

I`m not usually a fan of black wheels but it might look good.

Expensive mistake if it doesn`t suit the car .... best to get the felt tips out again

Having just been through this process myself its amazing how much more the car is transformed when you get all the "brightwwork" bolted back on Stuart.

Nice job.

Do you have a picture of your car to show the contrast?

Not really! I meant a decent shot of the car showing the wheels! When its next rolled outside for example!

Looking REAL good

How's the bonnet lift working on your car. My one has had to be moded again as it was trashing the splitter and casuing bonnet damage. Could see this being a issue with your bigger splitter.

My Beast passed the IVA but watch the floor line radius, cockpit radius and seat belt mounts. Work hard on the steering self centre as well!! You will be please to know all the rest was straight forward

Love the wrap process!!

Hey Peter, Fantastic news. I will be sure to pester you when I get round to the IVA ...hope you don`t mind

My bonnet lift seems to be working well..... oddly enough....odd creek and crack but nothing that can`t be solved with a couple of gas struts.

Here are the pics of my car as of last night back from the wrap.

Not a huge fan of the M-B decal on the side pod, but other than that minor grump...
