In a bid to clear some space on the drive.
I plan to dismantle my "spares" car.
Doors, side windows, engine cover etc is no problems.
But what is the best way to store a curved windscreen ?
Cover in bubblewrap and store upright on the long edge, or store lying down or build some sort of framing to hold it ?
Large tv box possibly, they usually come with foamy inserts, then bubble wrap
On the spares car is the windscreen bonded in place or held in a rubber seal?
Either way I'd have thought standing on the lower edge (perhaps on some small bits of wood) and leant against a wall. Cover in bubble wrap or an
old duvet to protect it from knocks and bumps.

Rubber seal, with a filler strip.
It's going upstairs in the garage roof space, so won't see a lot of traffic.
I'm more worried about it loosing shape in storage.
All my glass, trims, tyres, wheels, wings, boot lids, doors, seats from my car have been in my loft since 2017.
If my ceiling ever comes down when we are in bed, we will be the first couple to die in (upstairs) in a road traffic accident.
My screen is stood on its edge, safely propped up without any booble wrap etc.

I don't have a spare windscreen, but "booblewrap" definitely sounds a curious thing, possibly more likely to cause issue than a windscreen.
