I've got something very similar, if not the same, on the Indy and it looks fairly clean and less cluttered. However some people like the separate lights.

A bit more work and watch out how far they protrude into the wings, may need to make some protection from stones and wter etc.

If you've got narrow enough arches you can put the lamps on the rear panel (so they are still within 400mm of the edge of the car) like mine - a bit higher up so hopefully more visible than the traditional wheelarch position.

My lamps are like your option 1 but include reversing lights. From CarBuilder Solutions

I like rectangular like Colin Chapman did! fewer lights the better.

Those hamburger lights look better where they were made for . . . the backs of busses!

I've gone for tripples on mine! Popular on dax rushes with their huge wide arches... Rescued attachment DSCF0090.JPG
