Winter Mods Complette (well nearly)
Pdlewis - 20/5/07 at 07:30 PM

After a very long winter i have nearly finished all my alterations. In the sence in is now road leagual again and taxed. been out in it and put the smile on my face. Think it needs a visit to the Rolling Road as sounds like it may be a bit lean at high revs.

The changes I have made are as Follows:

New Engine: Changes from a 1.6 pinto to a 2L pinto with a escort rally head with slightly oversized ports and pistons and high pressure oil pump

New Exhaust: 4-2-1 Stainless robin hood system

New Ignition: Lumination Competiton Ignition

New Dash: Clocks and dash (bike style digi dash)

New rear wings

New Lights (rear)

Repaint all the black coloured pannels and nose cone

New interior trim

Ther are some pitures in my achive of the old car so you can see the improvement but thought i would only attach the 'new' pics

Thanks to everyone for answering my at times silly questions

Im currently having a few issues with the speedo and rev counter.

I think i may have one of the magnets on with the pole facing the wrong way. the pickup is on the cv joint

The rev counter is a bit trickyer. I have trided all sorts and cant get it to work.

Im currently running my old one in tandom so i can get a speed reading
