sikaflex (translatation requested)

I've seen sikaflex mentioned in several posts - must be a product trade name that I'm not familiar with.

Does anybody know the US term for it?

Sorry I'm not totally bilingual,

Sikaflex = polyurethane sealant

Comes in one of those tubes that you put in a gun and squeeze the handle.

Better than silicone, as it's stronger, stickier, and doesn't give off corrosive fumes (acetic acid) as it dries.

Downside is that it's a bit more expensive.

in the US, there is a product range called GOOP which is a similar thing.

Bought my Sikaflex from a DIY store in San Francisco for about $ 5.00 a tube. I thought it was an american product??

I've also used

Tiger Seal
Granville PU flex

..which seemed to do the job just as well. Bit like bathroom sealant except it's sticky.
