The mrs has an 04 1.4 beetle cab, the airbag light is on.

Scanned with vag com and its the o/s front crash sensor implausible:intermittent signal, apparently a common fault.

What I want to know is if I change the sensor will it need coding to the car or is it just a case of resetting the light?

I've got access to a snap on scanner so I can erase the code but didn't know if anything else needed doing.

Anyone know?
