Hi Guys,

Can anyone clarify, in the Haynes manual and the ford manual, the exploded view of the Type 9 gearbox, the oil scoop ring shows the smooth end to the gear.
In the Ford one, it states smooth end to bearing.

So which is the correct orientation???

Tend to trust the ford service manual but hopfully some one will know!!

Yeah I would too but in the Ford one it also shows the exploded view with the scoop ring towards the bearing but when assembling its the other way
