HELP! Lathe headache

Hi All

Location: Lincolnshire

A plea for help! I bought a lathe on ebay expecting to be able to use the works van to collect it but they have sold it on unexpectedly (the van). I have now been weeks trying to sort this and have found myself in a position where I can't really afford a courier to collect it just yet but the seller is really peed off as it is in the way. Would any kind soul with a van and some storage be willing and able to get it from Spalding and just hang on to it till the end of the month? I would of course be more than happy to pay for diesel and the storage.

If you can help please let me know before they bung it back on ebay and I lose my cash!

Ta in advance

Matt

I can not help, but just thought it may be worthwhile to let others know what size/type the lathe is etc.

It may be you need a large van rather then escort van etc.

Good luck

Adrian

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.

'Kin Great idea that with something so heavy -why not post the ad on here over night / 24 hours and see if someone nearer will pick it up for around the same money that, cunningly, gets you off the hoook to buy something nearer to home!
It's OK I don't want an y commission for this
