As title Aldi have their electronic battery chargers back on special from today (Thursday 6th October)
Decent bit of kit with many features found on the more expensive ones (i.e CTEK) although doesn't have the increased voltage feature found on
the expensive ones that allows attempted revival of a totally dead battery.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Incidentally I used this on a 12v battery reading 5.5v, no problems (though it won't desulphate it unfortunately). I now leave my spares
attached permanently.

On the subject of battery life I recently acquired a very nice low mileage Rover 45 1.4 -- exactly 11 years old with the original factory
fitted battery. Servicing the car for the winter I gave the battery a high discharge rate volt drop test which it passed with no sign of distress.
