Pressure washer recommendations

Evening,

My dad wants to move on from the old sponge and bucket to a pressure washer, and mum wants a quick way to clean the patio.

So are there any washers you can recommend? They would want something with decent power and size isn't too relevant.

James

Nilfisk.

Great bit of kit and less than an equivalent karcher.

This is the one I have http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1577941.htm

+1 for the Nilfisk, great piece of kit for the money.

Also comes highly recommended on detailing world forum

So Karcher, yeah?

Thanks everyone, that pretty much settles it!

Nilfisk, if you are not in a hurry you sometimes get good cheap deals from Maplins on them if you can afford to wait on them coming up. The metal motors on the Nilfisk sound solid and quality compared to the plastic internals on a Karcher.

Check out Karcher Outlet for refurbished and discontinued products. We got an absolute bargain there last time we bought one. It was a Karcher K3.550 which we got for £89.99 + £5.95 delivery. So £95.94 inc vat and p&p. Going strong and a great washer.

You can also easily get spares for these from espares.co.uk if you need to.

Cheers,
Craig.

I've got this for sale if interested:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kew-Alto-Nilfisk-E140-2-X-TRA-Professional-Pressure-Washer-140-Bar-240-Volt-/281655801216?pt=LH_DefaultDoma in_3&hash=item4193fe7580

We buy and sell a few pressure washers and Nilfisk definitely better than the equivalent value Karcher.

In terms of attachments, are some of them a bit of a gimmick? Or are they genuinely useful?
