WTD: Nice strong throttle return spring

I've had enough of the light pedal due to the weak return on the R1's carbs.

Beer tokens are available for any return spring, but something nice and strong preferably.

I've fitted the above, not driven car yet but return feels good.

It's just the right length to fit onto R1 carbs, off the rear of throttle cable fitting up onto the choke operating bar on carbs.

I made up a tiny couple of inches long throttle cable with a looped end, the bike has a throttle up and a throttle back cable which is why the revs hang on car fitments. The second cable got fitted to the second slot in the spindle and the looped end then got a spring fitted to it.

Do you mean the part of the choke where the phillips head bold holds the choke cable? I'm trying to think how to get a nice 90 degree turn in the cable to let me do that. I guess it's easier with the carbs in front of me!

That is my plan so far, I just need to figure out where to attach the other end of the spring. If like CosKev3 says it fits onto the choke bar then happy days!

I'll take a pic.

I've got the spring direct from throttle, no cables.

Wonderful, thanks!

I know exactly what you mean now

I'll definitely give that a shot.
