Widest point wing mirrors

The wing mirrors on my car will be the widest point. Due to this, I thought there is an IVA requirement for them to pivot inwards under pressure. I've been looking carefully through the IVA manual the past few evenings and can't find any reference to it!

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or know if this requirement has been removed/replaced?

I'm keen to check whether the mirrors I have would meet the exact requirements (fold angles, forces, etc)!

The only requirement I'm aware of is if the mirror has a folding function it, when it returns to its normal position it should not need re-adjusting. (Indirect Vision 08 RS 11)

Yep as above, they don’t have to fold in, ive gone through 2 IVAs now with the same fixed style mirrors with no problems
