Deflector/Aero Screen MK Indy

I'm trying to decide on what to attach to my scuttle - Not planning on putting a full screen for obvious IVA based reasons, but don't really want an opaque carbon aeroscreen.

I've seen here and there small perspex uprights (on road legal builds) that don't have wipers etc. Are there any that fit the MK scuttle and will they pass IVA?

I made my own, firstly I made a template with cardboard, then cut a strip of perspex to shape with a jig saw. Covered it with dark tint material and then fitted a "U" edging put around it. I bolted it to the scuttle, which on the Indy there is a small upright, with black No plate nuts and bolts.

Thanks, i'll have a think about doing that, I've got plenty of U covering about and access to a laser cutter!

I was having a look through the IVA manual the other day, but couldn't find much information about what they consider a full wind screen and what is just a small upright/deflector - like the aero screen

I made my screen about 100mm high and it went through SVA with no problem.

Found the bit for IVA:

"every vehicle fitted with a windscreen shall, unless the driver can obtain an adequate view to the front of the vehicle without looking through the windscreen, be fitted with one or more efficient automatic windscreen wiper"

I have no idea what I'm doing.
