Mounting a coil pack

In my quest for keeping my engine bay neat n tidy, is there any problem mounting my coilpack to the block, probably on rubber isolator blocks,

I fixed mine to a bracket mounted on the top of the bell housing, it's still there

Mines bolted to a plate on a dummy distributor fitting, so same as, on the block, its fine.

Zetec engines have the coils on a bracket on the back of the block,. hth

Standard on a lot of French cars although probably not the best example of reliability :-)

On my Duratec Ford bolt the coil pack directly to the rear of the head.





Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016
