Digidash Fault?

Hi all,

A couple of times now the digidash in my IndyBlade has encountered a strange fault.

Last time, after a 30-40min blast all the lights came on permanently, except the small LCD read out which still seemed to be functioning correctly.

After pulling over and turning the ignition on and off, it reset itself and seemed to be fine.

I thought it could be a voltage problem related to a dying reg/rec, however I did some basic checks and found the following :-

The battery has 12.5v with the ignition off.

Im reading 14v at idle

there is full voltage reaching the reg from the battery via the red cable.

has anyone else had a similar issue and found a solution?

Cheers.

Is it a digidash from ETB?

They have been very helpful to me in the past when I had a oil temp issue, try giving them a call.

Hi ,
I had a similar issue with my dash,
Turned out to be related to the oil pressure light.
As the oil temp gradually rose during a drive, the pressure dropped.
When the oil light came on, all the warning lights would
Come on.
I disconnected the oil light and wired in a separate one-
Have been meaning to sort it out for ages.
