I recently bought myself a 205 GTI, which SWMBO was advised of the night before I went to collect it. It took a couple of days, but she soon warmed to the idea.

I then bought a 205 GTI bare body shell, which my Dad and I manage to sneak into to my integral garage unseen . It was in the for 6 days before she happened to go in there for a pair of the kids wellies.

By that point I'd forgotten she didn't know and was well and truly caught off guard when I got home from work and questioned on the matter

Please keep us posted on the "introduction" process!
