Poor old car

kj - 17/6/14 at 07:17 PM

I know of 3 mk3 & axr4i in Bishop Auckland if they are still there

Blimey I think that would completely fall apart if moved.

Takes me back to my white 2.0 laser I loved it. And my dad had 3 2.8i when I was a kid
He used to let me change the gears which I thought was fantastic.

kj - 17/6/14 at 07:37 PM

I had a 2.0 laser in silver and a black 1.6s always wanted a 2.8 i

perksy - 17/6/14 at 08:17 PM

Had a Mk2 and a Mk3 2 litre 'S' and they were great at the time

But that one is sadly past redemption imho

Refreshing to see someone actually (apparently) wanting to sell something!

'Normally' this would be listed as a 'BARGIN!' or as an 'EZY FIX', highlighting the 'AWSUM BREAKS'. Initial 'price' would be set at £0.99, with a reserve, for any interested parties to find the car 'item is no longer available' just before auction end.

mcerd1 - 18/6/14 at 08:33 AM

I gave away a mk3 ghia 3.0 auto for free
and it was in 10x better condition than that

next door was having a clear out so I said yes to a free scimitar, but a week later this Capri turned up and next door said 'oh yeah, it comes with the scimitar!

mine had so much rot in the panels you could stick your finger through anywhere along the bottom ¼, but next to that ebay one at least it had some paint left, the front was more or less attached to the back and it sort of ran if you kept the revs up....

OMG that's mental, I doubt the scrap man would pay that much for it.

fair play to whoever takes this on to restore it but can't see that happening - there must be loads that are in better condiition.

loggyboy - 20/6/14 at 12:07 PM

Will be about the V5 I suspect.

r1_pete - 20/6/14 at 12:26 PM

In pic 8 I love how the door handle seems to be suspended in thin air......

I guess the wheels and window trim bits are going to be worth having for a restorer...

Ninehigh - 20/6/14 at 04:14 PM

Yeah those windows just need a good cleaning and all that car will come right off them

talkingcars - 20/6/14 at 06:15 PM

The only reason I can see for buying that are to get the V5 and vin plate.
