jeffw - 18/9/17 at 08:21 PM

Not even a little Locost, my new car is a Zeus prototype powered by a Mussett Racing MR1500T.

and it looks like this

I'm going to enter the British Sprint Championship next year

Simon - 18/9/17 at 08:34 PM

scudderfish - 18/9/17 at 08:37 PM

wylliezx9r - 18/9/17 at 08:44 PM

PAUL FISHER - 18/9/17 at 08:53 PM

It looks brutal, he doesn't even look like he's trying

The car has got within a sec of the outright Brands Indy lap record held by Scott Mansell of a 38.0sec with Robbie Kerr driving.

bi22le - 18/9/17 at 09:58 PM

That looks fun, nearly as fast as my Striker!!!

You better change your signature, I doubt that is only 640Bhp ton.

jeffw - 19/9/17 at 04:45 AM

Edited signature for you

jeffw - 19/9/17 at 08:02 AM

ken555 - 19/9/17 at 08:11 AM

Can't see that getting through an IVA test easily.

jeffw - 19/9/17 at 08:22 AM

Funny you should say that.....

There is at least one road register Palmer Jaguar which is based on the Zeus.

swanny - 19/9/17 at 01:11 PM

palmer jag i drove was brilliant fun

Enjoy!

HowardB - 19/9/17 at 01:22 PM

a worthy successor to the awesome Phoenix,...

I think the Phoenix needs a tribute gallery

stevebubs - 19/9/17 at 01:25 PM

Duncan Cowper... not seen that name in a while, but not surprised the lap was quick...

Doctor Derek Doctors - 19/9/17 at 02:10 PM

Holy shit! 1100bhp+ per ton!

I think that might be a bit of a stretch for "locost" builders though. Oh and... giz a go?

richardm6994 - 19/9/17 at 02:25 PM

holy mother!!!
I really wish I could hide my jealousy better!!! I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!

Best of luck to you pal!

Sure, big boys toys rules apply.....you bend it, you mend it

mark chandler - 19/9/17 at 05:05 PM

1.7 bar of boost

It's amazing that they can use Suzuki head and cylinders.

I,m sure you will enjoy, may be a bit tricky if it falls off boost I guess.

jeffw - 19/9/17 at 06:41 PM

Don't know yet but paddleshift and clutchless changes will sort that out pretty quickly.

My RS4 was well over 2Bar of boost.

jeffw - 21/9/17 at 05:06 PM

Some photos from the weekend. Won the class at Snetterton 100 (FTD by some margin as well) and won at a very dampy Cadwell on the last run of the day. Not without its issues but the car is better now than it was on Saturday morning and I didn't damage it.

Even on low boost it is mental fast.

Damp track, 7.5K rpm and slicks

jeffw - 23/10/17 at 09:00 PM

Cheers

Gun to a knife fight

Doctor Derek Doctors - 24/10/17 at 07:52 AM

More like a cruise missile to a playground scrap!

I'm annoyed that i didnt get to hear it launching or running the circuit. I assume its not out until next year now?

jeffw - 24/10/17 at 08:16 AM

Probable not Cal although I'd like to do a track day for the insanity of it. Did think of the Mazda on Track Brands Indy day in December but it is fully booked. Dodging MX-5 10 at a time would have been fun.

jeffw - 26/10/17 at 06:09 AM

Andy D - 26/10/17 at 08:17 AM

That's one handsome looking machine!

Javelin have a day later in November and another in December if you fancy one of them? If you do I will join you and share a garage (so long as its not monsoon conditions like the last track day i did there!)

jeffw - 26/10/17 at 12:07 PM

Yeah, maybe or there is a Silverstone one the SKCC boys are talking about.

I spotted Mark and a couple of others sitting in commuter traffic the other day. Heading north through the Dartford crossing tunnels.

They looked saddled up for a long trip north.
