Embeesea Charger Mk1 body shell

On my travels I have come across a gentleman who has an immaculate condition Embeesea Charger Mk 1 body shell complete with its gull wing doors and door seals. It's white in colour and has been dry stored in a garage since around 1980. The shell has never been touched since purchase so no drill holes etc. He now wants rid.
What's it worth and does anyone know of anyone with a Charger that's being restored? This is truly a rare find.

This one sold recently on eBay.

There is a link to some pics, overall the car has a great retro styling appeal. I can't say I'm a fan of the front end, but a chin spoiler and light covers might improve it. Looks like it would be a good project with decent power and brakes.

Front view is best, rear so-so, side on the gull wings are too square.
Buy it!
I wonder if a modern day build, paint wheels could have it looking OK?

Buy it SWMBO would go mad. Too busy with the Jago restoration at the mo otherwise I would be tempted. Read somewhere earlier about a guy who's putting an Impreza engine in one they were only meant for 1200cc Beetle engines so a Scooby powered car would be impressive.

Theres a modified one on ebay at the moment, looks better than the original but I think the seller is asking too high a price considering the chassis is missing all its suspension and engine/gearbox.

I suppose it all depends on how much the gentleman is willing to pay you.

He isn't paying me anything, I'm merely trying to help him find a home for the shell. I would hate to see it get sawn up and dumped as that's a possibility. Someone somewhere must be restoring one of these and perfect untouched shells like this don't come up very often.

Hi, I am currently restoring one of these ugly little duckings and wouldn't mind getting hold of the guy with the parts.

I came across this post after a google search so, if you see my reply please give me a shout.

thanks
Ian.

I saw that and it reminded me of http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_12087-Made-for-Movie.html and though it would be amazing if you could make it look slightly more like that.
