black top Zetec

Would anyone know the difference between a 1.8 & 2.0 cylinder head?

Cheers
Mark

I'm putting a 2.0 silver top in and have taken out a 1.8 black top with a little end knock so was thinking of keeping the head for a spare later on down the line if they are the same??

the black top head isnt a straight exchange onto the Silvertop I run a 1.8 silvertop with the 2litre silvertop cams gives a little mor BHP. Surprised you going backward with the engine change as the blactops are newer and more readily available. Brand new crate engines coming in at the £750 mark

I was thinking of a spare head if I went 2.0 black top later I bought my car as a part finished project I'm going down the silver top route for the IVA test at 3.5% emissions
