Looks like a fun project..
never quite understood the point of sitting an engine on both ends.... Extra weight and complexity... A nice big turbo monster in the boot would be
quite enough

Reminds me of the the alfa GTV with two v6 engine and the Audi TT with two 1.8T's.
Some mean welding skills there, not the bird poo you often see on home build cars. Guessing this is his main job.
Will keep an eye on this one.

How about if its 2 nice big turbos at both ends?!
This lil thing has been around for donkeys years and the idea still makes me smile.
made by a german tuning company for a uk company that was too lame to do it themselves sadly, but still in an impressive product.

The advantage of twin engines is that as well as double the power you get 4WD without requiring a propshaft

far from his main job he works behind a desk all day. .. though he has been working on cars a lot of his life with his dad. l

His dad is a alfa / fiat specialist so has always had a love for them... he had a 200hp uno before that was fun.
Originally was going to be a twin engine saab as they are cheap but we decided it was a but heavy measured up the uno and realised it could be made to
fit so thought why not!

1.8t comes in 4wd (TT) and doubling its power is easy! Why bother...
Anyone see the Lupo in PPC? That's how to do it!!

600bhp uno..... somewhat more of a sleeper than a TT....and 600bhp in a TT does not come cheap and lag free...

It looks good, but i cant see how the radiator and intercooler will get a good flow of air running sideways like that with the vents
|

Admitidly at low speed it wont be ideal but the rad is massivly over size for the engine so when fans are fitted it should be fine, and anything over
30mph should be fine, try holding your fingers out of your car window a couple of inches its surprising the airflow you have to contend with.

The thing with sticking your finger out of a window is that your finger is perpendicular to the flow of air. Those radiators are parallel to the flow
of air. To get the most out of that setup you would need a really good seal around the radiator to ensure that all the air was forced through, and not
across/around the radiator.

The duct will be sealed around the radiator it's not yet finished we believe cooling will be fine the the proof of the pudding will be in the
eating
