Wheel Refurb - Powder Coating or Paint?
My other project is a Series 2 Landrover which has 5 alloy wheels that seem to have a chrome finish to the outside. Now they're not in great
condition with a lot of pitting and rust. So I am thinking of refurbishing them.
So what is best, powder coating or painting? I am getting quotes for both but wondered what the concensus was here?
I've had alloys powder coated before on my Sylva Riot and was impressed with the finish.

If you are paying for it to be done, powder coat is the best option as less prone to damage. I would only go for paint if I was doing it myself.

Thanks. I will visit the people who did them for me before and get a price.
