The Sylva (now Raw) Phoenix. I've looked at and sat in a J15 and it is OK until you realise how low the sides are.

I quite like that actually!bit of perspex over the lights and I'd have it.then again I do own a maestro.

Just notice it has perspex!definitely have it if its not some ford or bike engine ha

The j15 just looks a little to long, maybe stretched in the centre - the balance is quite right IMO.

we praise jp for getting it right but he has also made some god darn ugly cars too. in my eyes things notably improved when he gave up trying to do modern

And thank god he changed the name of the J-15, i dont think any amount of good looks would have allowed it to get over the Shindig name that it was originaly released under!

Actually it's not a MK1 Escort pickup its a Dutton Sierra kit!
Belongs to a good friend of mine, started out as a standard Dutton, he then cut the front up and put a grp escort front on then cut the estate back off it and made the pickup bed. the 1st bed was a flareside but he wasn't quite happy with it so made the one in the pic thats actually all steel.
I've driven it a few times and it's fantastic, handles well and goes well too. Started with a x-flow, then he had my old DOHC engine and now has a zetec.
