Referring to them as relics shows a level of ignorance as to their capabilities. Paddon is clearly a very talented driver, but RWD Escorts regularly
beat modern 4WD cars in the tarmac rally events I service at.
The 4WD cars tend to claw back the advantage in slippery conditions however.
