Ummm..Me thinks this says more about the drivers of the modern 4WD turbo machines left to eat the dust of this ancient 2WD relic!

Referring to them as relics shows a level of ignorance as to their capabilities. Paddon is clearly a very talented driver, but RWD Escorts regularly beat modern 4WD cars in the tarmac rally events I service at.

The 4WD cars tend to claw back the advantage in slippery conditions however.

'A level of ignorance ' about Mk 2 rally Escorts?..Ummm perhaps I am indeed ignorant about them despite having competed in one on the 1984 Lombard RAC rally.I was car 75 BTW
